01

Who we are

ANCHOR & HILL ("A&H," "we," "us," or "our") provides website strategy, design, development, launch support, optional Website Care, and related project communication.

The identity, registration, jurisdiction, and tax details of the contracting operator will be stated in the project-specific commercial documents before payment is requested.

Privacy questions may be sent to legal@anchorandhillstudio.com. General inquiries may be sent to contact@anchorandhillstudio.com.

02

What this policy covers

This policy explains the information handled through the current Studio inquiry and client-workspace lifecycle. Project scope, ownership, pricing, and contractual obligations are addressed separately in the Studio Service Terms and project-specific documents.

03

Information we collect

Account and contact information

When you create or verify a Studio account, contact us, or submit a request, we may collect:

  • name and business name
  • verified email address and account identifier
  • phone number and preferred contact method
  • country, city, and business location
  • authentication, session, consent, and security records

Project and delivery information

We may collect information needed to assess and deliver the requested work, including:

  • selected template or website direction
  • existing website and client-owned infrastructure references
  • requested pages, features, content, and third-party connections
  • project notes, proposal responses, approvals, milestones, and support requests
  • documents and records required for an agreed project or Website Care service

Payment-related information

The public Studio request flow does not collect card details or activate a payment.

If a separately authorized payment stage is later issued, the identified payment provider processes the payment under its own systems and policies. ANCHOR & HILL may receive limited transaction references, status, payer contact, amount, currency, and receipt information needed to reconcile the project. We do not store full payment card credentials.

04

Why we use information

  • verify Studio account access and protect the workspace
  • respond to inquiries and assess project or Website Care requests
  • prepare and version proposals and agreement-preparation records
  • communicate about onboarding, delivery, approvals, launch, handoff, and support
  • reconcile separately authorized payments and provide applicable records
  • maintain security, consent, operational, accounting, and legal evidence
  • prevent abuse and respond to legal or privacy requests
05

How information enters the system

Studio project requests use a verified account and controlled server-side submission. Request records include the authenticated account owner, consent version, source context, and submission reference.

Email verification establishes control of the submitted email address for Studio access. It does not independently verify a person's legal identity, authority to represent a business, or ownership of a domain or provider account; those matters may require separate evidence before contracted work or infrastructure changes.

06

Service providers and sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share the minimum information reasonably necessary with authentication, hosting, database, email, security, payment, and other delivery providers used for the applicable Studio stage, or where required by law and legitimate business protection needs.

A client-selected booking, reservation, ordering, payment, messaging, or similar provider remains a separate third party. ANCHOR & HILL Studio does not operate that service and does not assume responsibility for the provider's own data handling.

07

Cookies and session storage

The Studio may use strictly necessary cookies or equivalent storage for authentication, session continuity, security, consent evidence, and controlled workflow state.

This policy does not claim advertising pixels or optional analytics that are not implemented. If optional analytics, advertising, or additional tracking is introduced, the policy and any required consent controls must be updated before activation.

08

Retention

We retain account, request, proposal, project, payment-reference, and support information only for as long as reasonably required for the active relationship, security, dispute handling, operational continuity, and applicable accounting or legal obligations.

Some accepted terms, proposal versions, responses, transaction references, and operational events may need to remain immutable as evidence. Retention periods and deletion rights may depend on the governing jurisdiction and legal obligations stated by the contracting operator.

09

Security and client access

We use controlled authentication, authorization, server-side validation, restricted mutation paths, and other reasonable safeguards appropriate to the current Studio workflow. No internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Do not submit personal provider passwords, private keys, payment credentials, or unnecessary sensitive personal data through project notes. Where possible, use provider-supported invitations or delegated roles for infrastructure access.

10

Privacy requests and policy changes

To ask about your information, request access or correction, or raise a privacy concern, contact legal@anchorandhillstudio.com. Available rights and required identity checks depend on the applicable law and the status of the relevant records.

We may update this policy when the Studio workflow, service providers, operator details, or legal requirements change. The published version will show the revised last-updated date.
